「Poor customer service」

「The Empress is in/near a very nice/cool/fun section of Main St. Good food. Solid galleries. At least two very interesting antique shops. Wonderful ice cream shop. The Community Bakery is very good for pastries, coffee, breakfast or lunch. At the Empress James is a perfect host and took care of everything we needed. We would stay again if our travels take us back to Little Rock.」

「I loved staying at this historic, old world hotel for a week.The rooms are elegant, clean and spacious. I was in town doing wedding planning with my daughter and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly & accommodating. I felt so special. My husband could not be there, so I was traveling alone, yet always felt safe and comfortable. Their drivers were top-notch gentlemen who took me anywhere I needed and promptly picked me up. Their 2 restaurants were wonderful & spiced pecans are out of this...

「The best feature of this hotel was the view of the river and far shore, from our room on the eleventh floor. The worst feature was that the old, tired facility is undergoing a major repair/renovation, about which we were not informed. We, and other arrivals, found that we could not pull up to a porte cochere and enter the lobby. Instead, we were met by a construction site and orange fencing. There were no signs. There was no greeter to apologize for and explain the confusing puzzle of where to...

「Stacie is a great hostess! The unit was quite clean when we arrived and stocked with a number of small features that most don’t think to include, but are super nice to have (like bug spray to use in the beautiful backyard), and super comfortable beds and living room lounge furniture.
