「We arrived in town much earlier than we planned, on July 4th. Our room was booked July 4th-7th. Ana at the front desk, allowed us to check in early, 6 hours before the normal 3pm check in, which helped us out tremendously. Our room was nice and cool upon arrival, super clean, stocked. 「It's a great place to stay! The staff were friendly and professional as well. Two improvements I recommend are: 1) Post a sign that clarifies no smoking is allowed on the beach area (instead of just the pool) 2) On the left gate that leads to the beach, place some reflector tape around the edge of the two steps, since they're not always easy to notice.」

「Such a lovely hotel with a touch of history where I had a great stay for just one night. Although the building is aged, it has all the amenities I need, such as free parking, a platform lift, a cooler filled with ice bags, free coffee and ice/hot water and a pool, etc. Plus, bed was comfy and breakfast was excellent. 」

「The Don did not disappoint. I’ve lived in Tampa for over 25 years and never took advantage of this gem until this year. The hotel is still recovering from the back to back hurricanes in 2024 but the service, staff, rooms, and amenities were great! We will be back in the future to celebrate more big events in our lives. Thanks for making my birthday so special! 」
