「Our apartment was perfect: very clean inside, two bathrooms, everything worked perfect, beds very comfortable, inside the ancient walls and easy to get to everything. The only minor issues were first entering the steps up were dirty and then the door lock was fussy. But then walking in was perfect and I have no problem giving 5 stars.」

「Wow!! 11 out of 10. Beautiful hotel in perfect central location close to everything. The room was very well equipped and thought out with all of the little touches that make things great.

「The kitchen was full equipped, room was clean and ample, and property itself was charming and in right inside the Old City, easy access to all major tourist points. Well maintained property, would absolutely stay here again. The owner Jon was easy to work with and incredibly attentive and responsive. (Only thing to note for travelers is that since this unique property is within the Old City, several stairs are involved in order to access).」

「Perfect location in the Old City. The property management team was friendly, professional and communicative - and we particularly appreciated all of that with our very short-notice booking. The room was relatively large and very comfortable. There's a little noise in the street below that ends a little late and starts a little early but that can't really be helped and the supplied nightstand ear plugs were a nice offering as was the white noise of the air conditioner. I'd love to stay here...

「An excellent property in a great location and what a view! There are a lot of steps to climb to get back to the property from old town (>300) plus the uphill ramps. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They certainly exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. 」

「We booked a room with balcony and stayed for 2-night.
The room has a very comfy design and is maintained in good condition. Everyday they arrange room clean-up.
The Scalini Palace is located in an excellent location, very close to the Main Street, taking us just a few steps to Stradun. It’s esp convenient if you want to take nice photos of old town in very early morning.
No lift, same as many other hotels/apartments in the old town, so you have to walk upstairs to the floor you stay....

「We stayed for six nights and enjoyed every night. We were greeted upon arrival and showed around the place. The view from the balcony was beautiful over looking the waters and Old Town Croatia. We rented a car and the parking was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again. 」

「Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There's a view of the tower from the window. The giant soaking tub was a nice bonus. We stayed here for eleven nights. Half those nights there were large concerts in the Stradun (including on New Years Eve), but with the windows closed we slept through the noise.
There are quite a few stairs though...we counted one humdred and sixty from the reception to the room itself. Since we're from Denver, this daily hike was welcomed, but might be a...
