「The Seven Oaks Noble House is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of old town Dubrovnik. It is a relatively short walk to the hotel from the taxi stand by the Pile gate and there are only about 10 steps up to the hotel entry from the street. The room was clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. As the hotel is fairly new, there were thick paned windows and room darkening shutters. 「The kitchen was full equipped, room was clean and ample, and property itself was charming and in right inside the Old City, easy access to all major tourist points. Well maintained property, would absolutely stay here again. The owner Jon was easy to work with and incredibly attentive and responsive. (Only thing to note for travelers is that since this unique property is within the Old City, several stairs are involved in order to access).」

A few negatives was the kitchen area was a bit dirty, with mugs left in the dish washer and floors could do with a clean. 「Great location overlooking the water. As this is a converted villa, they do not have a front desk to check in. They use key codes to enable entry in the villa and your room. I did not know this until I arrived. Expedia sent me multiple emails while I was in flight and I did not have a chance to check emails when I touched down to get this info. Fortunately there was staff there to help me out. My room was large and modern. Very comfortable」

The Scalini Palace is located in an excellent location, very close to the Main Street, taking us just a few steps to Stradun. It’s esp convenient if you want to take nice photos of old town in very early morning. No lift, same as many other hotels/apartments in the old town, so you have to walk upstairs to the floor you stay....
