"Stayed here over 50 years ago when new, again 15 years ago and enjoyed the stay this time as well. The only negative was the Restaurant Manager who was rude and lacked good hospitality traits. Requested ketchup for lunch leftovers in the evening and he bluntly stated that the restaurant had no ketchup or sauces of any kind. Our great server at breakfast the next morning said they had any condiments we needed for leftovers. Judy, the general manager was absolutely awesome!!!"

"We instantly noticed their beautiful cat, Mumu, when we checked in. It was nice to feel so welcomed as not all "pet friendly" places are friendly to cats as well as dogs. Christina could not have been nicer! When she realized we had 2 cats, she switched our room to the first floor to make it easier for us to settle in. We stayed four days and got additional coffee, cups and clean towels. We had been worried that our cats would escape if someone cleaned the room while we were away but she assured us that no one would clean unless we wanted them to. I borrowed a broom to sweep up the sand. The room had everything we needed - small frig, microwave, coffee pot. There is a Dollar Tree right across the street which was handy to purchase any extra items we forgot to bring. The path to the beach is a little hike but very pleasant. There is an extra area with a ping pong table and games that would be especially nice for kids as well as a grill and tables for eating. I would definitely stay again."
