「This is a lovely hotel in a glorious location and very peaceful. The view form a sea-facing apartment is splendid. The main complaint would be that the decor and furnishings in the corridors and apartments are very old and tired - really they should have been updated/re-fitted 10 years ago. Some areas smell strongly of damp or mould. Otherwise, the convenience, pool and gym area, and having a kitchen in the apartment make this a worthwhile choice if you don't mind tired furnishings.」

「Parking is limited and prebookable at £10 a night, but there is plenty of free street parking in the area. We had a nice sea view on the 3rd floor, but unfortunately the lift only goes up to the 2nd floor. The room was compact but clean and comfortable with a nice big walk in shower. We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full.
