「We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. We found the staff every helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The bar was quiet and not expensive. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again if in the area. Thank you」

「Unfortunately this hotel is looking very tired. The rooms are shabby and dusty. Stains on the walls and on the ceiling of the bathroom. But, the staff were very friendly and the location is great. 」

「The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle...

「Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.」

「The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know. It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again.」

「The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment.」

「Bed was comfortable, but one of them is on the window side of the curtain, so not ideal. Nice bathroom, great shower. The door needs fixing so it closes, and a lock fitting. 」
