The hotel was great ,
I loved the living space on the ground floor then a mez sleeping area,
Slightly disappointing that there isnt a bar or restaurant though.
Met by friendly staff at reception, the accommodation we found clean and tidy,
The only downside is the lack of an onsite restaurant which could be a useful asset for single female customers staying at the hotel.
Otherwise a good safe place to stay.
Clean and tidy room. Our room had a balconied mezzanine floor for the bedroom which was something we quite liked.
Breakfast in the pub next door was excellent.

Honestly while the hotel could do with some updating, it hit the most important notes. The WiFi was quick and easy to log into. The bed was comfortable and all was clean. The water pressure was good. So for the value it’s hard to find fault. Whilst it could do with more food offerings the area isn’t without options. I can recommend the Castle Bistro nearby. The food was amazing the staff were lovely.
It is a Travelodge type place at the side of the A5. Seems to be contractors during the week, I'm told weekends are busy with others. It's clean and comfy but noisy, paper thin walls so if someone stays up till 2 in the morning you do too!
Decent, everyday hotel, great check-in staff! Comfortable bed though the property as a whole feels a little tired. Breakfast next door is pretty normal, but the large next door property was completely closed except for the breakfast area!
It fulfilled my purpose, staff was Friendly, the room was clean, the bed clean and comfortable. (Not cheep bedding) a good night’s sleep. Parking excellent. The location of your lodge was perfect for my needs.
Great breakfast, hotel is close to a major road, so we had road noise (fine with windows closed but needed them open as in a heatwave)
Staff helpful, the only downside being that no food available on site except for breakfast. Plenty of other options available nearby.

Not the poshest of places but it works well. Clean and tidy is the main thing. 👌
Large, clean, warm and spacious room. Very good Wi-Fi, clean and well presented bathroom, with an amazing shower. Tea and coffee topped up daily. Good breakfast, sadly no restaurant or food facility on site, but there is a microwave for use, so micro meals are well served if need be. Friendly and welcoming staff. This is a return visit for me, always my first choice if working in the area.
We had a warm welcome on the evening of our arrival and shown to a ground floor room accessible for my mum who has mobility problems and no sight - just as I had requested. It was clean, comfortable and perfectly suited to her needs. The wet room and shower chair was particularly helpful. The room was sparse when it came to luxuries however this room for two was only £90 and ideal for a single nights stay, Thank you to both members of staff who welcomed us and then saw us check out in the morning.

Convenient but not a strong recommendation
A little tired but comfortable enough. Windows open for ventilation but the A5 is noisy and close. Breakfast satisfactory but not the range some hotels offer. WiFi rather variable and not great for online meetings.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The service was excellent but the room itself was hot at night (so we couldn't sleep properly). There was no air conditioning so we had to have the windows open. However, the roads are very noisy so that affected sleep also. Finally, the walls are very thin so other customers shutting their doors was very loud. In short, great staff, poor rooms.

Disappointing stay
Only booked this as a stop off from London to North Wales but expected more for £90. Paint peeling off of bathroom ceiling. Mould in and around bathroom. Litter behind bedside table. Creaking hot water pipe in the corner of the room which did so all night!
Pleasant welcome from the young lady in the evening. Not so much as a look up and thank you/good-bye from the gentleman on departure.
Only positive was a comfy bed and pillow - not that I slept!
