「Expedia should not have this hotel listed as a 3 star hotel. Comparable hotels are available at one-fourth of the price. I booked this hotel because I trusted that since listed on Expedia, the hotel must be good. But it wasn't. The room was very small with a bed & two chairs . It was clean, the bed was okay. 「Fantastiskt fräscht fint och bra service. Pangläge!!」

「The room was clean and comfortable. The highlight was the lavish breakfast. There were many options including both eggs and dosas to order. I would return simply for that breakfast.」

「The price was the lowest price I could find. On arrival the hotel occupancy was high and gave me room just beside the noisy cargo lift. After complain they gave me a better one. Wedding ceremonies and low price contributed to its high occupancy. Breakfast was quite good vegetarian. 」

「I am often in Varanasi for work, and always stay at te Diamond. It is near both to the center city and riverfront and to the university and yet quickly accessible to the route to the airport and train station. The staff are helpful, from arranging cars for longer road trips to providing all the necessities of a hotel stay. The rooms are quite large, and the bathrooms have recently been remodeled, a further plus. The restaurant is good.」
