「There is an air of faded glamour about the Orton Hall Hotel, the facilities were clean and the staff lovely. Breakfast very good」

「Very disappointed. We had to hunt for someone to check us in on arrival. The restaurant was only open one evening of our stay. The food was disappointing and we waited for an hour one evening for bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, olives and a cheese board. We were there from Saturday till Friday morning. The room was clean but the beds were small and bedding only just covered the top of the bed. At the pool I was told to get my towel from my room otherwise I would have to pay....

「The "hotel" in some respects was reasonable (vehicle parking, visual appearance, and the room itself), but did not justify the name of hotel. The property offered no facilities for an evening meal (and even the nearest dining facilities {more than half a mile away} was closing down at the end of the day we were there and only offered a limited menu on that day). In the night I walked by my bed to the the “step into the loo “ and nearly broke my toe scraped my my back on a badly placed wooden and brass door stop We will never visit this hotel again and would like a refund」

「The room was on the small side and needs redecorating as its old and tired. Landlord very helpful with a complementary glass of wine. Parking was great and in a brilliant location only 5 mins walk into the centre. Plenty tea and coffee and breakfast items in the fridge. If the room was a bit more upto date and brighter then it would have been perfect.」
