「Total disappointment!!! Hotel was extremely outdated! Everything looked musty. When we arrived the first room they assigned to us smelled like pee!! And had flies everywhere!! Puerto peñasco in general is so overrated and overpriced !! We cut our trip a day short!! Do no recommend!!」

「The electricity went out for at least an hour between 4am and 5am on an extremely hot night, waking us up and having to go out and look for someone to let us know what was going on. There was no one around so we had no choice but to sit in the dark and wait for the electricity to turn back on. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone. However, the parking attendant was exceptionally helpful, and the agent at the desk was friendly.」

「Rock-hard beds (mattress sitting on a built-in wood slab!) made for backaches in the morning. They were so uncomfortable that we actually left a day early! There were lipstick stains on a pillow case and another, unidentifiable stain on a sheet. The breakfast was horrible- tried one day and didn’t return. Staff were nice but with very limited English. Pool area was nice and beach access was just a short walk across the street. Very disappointing stay.」

「The hotel was nice, clean and relaxing. The rooms are spacious. Its a bit away from the party scene and has a security guard at the front of the hotel. The only negative is the WiFi internet (no reception). Otherwise it was a nice place for a weekend trip.」

「This place Saved Our Vacation! The moment we arrived at Esmeralda, we felt like we could finally relax after a bad experience at our first resort in puerto peñasco. Our condo was pristine, beautiful, modern, The ocean views, excellent pools, and top-tier We are so grateful to Expedia for taking care of us and to Esmeralda for providing such a spectacular, high-quality experience. We will definitely be back!」

「The room was very clean. Shower was semi -clean. We didn't have hot water. The wi-fi didn't work and the TV didn't display any channels even though it was connected to the wi-fi. We definitely didn't get what we paid for. Im going to ask for a refund or partial refund because of the issues we experienced. The property was nice. Very nice pool. In house Bar was okay.」

「I love design, interiors, being close to the action, small business, and art. This place checked ALLLL the boxes! I can’t wait to come back when the rooftop pool is done. They have put thought and brilliance into every tile, furniture piece and plant. There was plenty of street parking, and once we found a spot we liked we just stayed parked there. You are in walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, farmacias. Seriously this place is 11/10!!!」

「The stay here was AMAZING! Location was very close to the "happenings"of El Malecon and very convenient to shopping. Room was great, A/C was COLD, space and shelving was very useful for our family 4 with older kids! The breakfast was WONDERFUL and staff were very pleasant. Will definitely book another stay here!」

「Price is not bad but balcony had a huge crack across the door upon arrival,I was worried all night that the door was going to shatter since there was very strong winds all night. I communicated with host about the door as soon as we walked in and saw the crack but had no response, bedroom sheets were dirty and appeared not to be washed upon our arrival. We found stains on sheets and 5 red hairs on them. I had to wash everything before sleeping on the bed. I communicated this with host and also...

「The room was excellent. When I walked in and my wife, we were both amazed of the scenery. The view. Once we opened the curtain, the view of all the pools and the ocean. The room was excellent, super clean, it was the best day. My wife and I have in a long time and a very beautiful condominio. I will go back and try to get the same room again and again and here. Great price. Also can’t beat it.」
