The room bathroom needed work as the paint was peeling and mold was found in the fridge filter. The staff was amazing. The food was disappointing, aside from breakfest the other meals were bland and were underwhelming.

Room was nice, clean and comfortable. The pool area and beach were great. But on site food was overpriced, pretty terrible, and not vegetarian friendly (honestly, 1 star for that). The only vegetarian option at the on-site restaurant only was a super basic lettuce salad, microwave pizza, and a grilled cheese - none of it was good. The pool-bar food was also super basic and overpriced (serving movie theater nacho cheese in Mexico is a disgrace to the national cuisine). Had to go into town for all meals.

Room was clean and on the top floor. The service in the restaurant was top shelf as was all the meals we had in Citron. The biggest issue we had was internet connectivity and stability. It constantly would disconnect and reconnect, even in the room. The bed was so stiff that we woke up every morning with back pain and hip pain Could use a mattress upgrade. The resort was in off season mode so some things were not open.

Balcony was peaceful with lounge chairs and a 4-6 person table. The view was stunning. Swim up bar was a lot of fun and a great place to hang out socially. The beach was lovely spending 3 days going between the ocean and the pools.
