「We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. 「The location of this hotel is perfect. Beautiful views, small and quaint. Staff was always helpful. The only thing we were disappointed with was the two restaurants. The hotel has such a prime location and there restraunts should be packed but the menu is very limited and night time dining is under really bright neon lights. Such great potential being missed We would go back though.」

「If you are traveling with a car, this hotel would be a great one for visiting Milan/Southern Switzerland. Everything is perfect, it looks like newly renovated with spacious rooms. We arrived the hotel very late, around 9:30pm, while the restaurant still opens and the quality of food is good. We will definitely visit again.」

The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the center of Colico and very close to the train station, which made getting around Lake Como so easy.
