"Great location! Rooms were clean. AC did not work for more than 10 minutes so quite hot in our room. Did not get a chance to use the pool. Included breakfast was nothing special but great that it was included and convenient. I would stay here again!"

"This is a fantastic hotel, well worth a stay. I stayed here on a solo vacation but this hotel is in a perfect location for a romantic getaway, just outside of the sleepy Lake Como town of Bellano and a short train ride away from the busier town of Varenna, where there is a ferry to other towns on the lake. I splurged on a lake-view room, which definitely enhanced my stay. The bed was comfortable with a nice selection of pillows. Breakfast was very good with a lot of sweet and savory choices laid out by Francesco. There is a small parking area if you are driving in, as I was. Matteo at the front desk was quite helpful, giving me suggestions for a route that allowed me to visit some small towns above Bellano and do some hiking to fantastic lake views. If you are looking for a quite place to stay with a lot of Italian charm, then you will love this hotel."

"Our room was very cleaned , housekeeping looks after us , reception was also very friendly on arrival and departure. Breakfast quite limited but acceptable. We loved the swimming pool , only down side that on our last day the sauna was not on to mention this was between 10.00 and 13.00PM Overall grate experience."

"I got the room with the amazing view of the mountains, lakes and ponds! It was a hard room floor. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean Temperature was perfect to sleep throughout the night. My only recommendation is changing if the carpet in the passage and some floors and keeping the patios clean."

"-Room cleaned every day -Staff was friendly -Air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly When too hot you can not reset the gage for the right temperature -the hair dryer was making noise and it was dangerously hot -hygiene, I asked for new tea cup, the cleaner took my cups in bathroom washed and gave it to me. I was shocked, I don’t know what to say. -toilets bowl was clean but the back of the toilet seat yellow poo stains, hairs. And I saw they were cleaning the room and all the new bad sheets were on floor when they making look nice and tidy. -at back of the cafeteria they don’t seems like have a dishwasher, staff was washing up plates and cups a quick job. After seeing all this I don’t feel comfortable eating, or sleeping. So! I asked not to clean my room and I bought my own products to clean surfaces and toilet and bath. I bought my own bed sheet and slept on it, because my skin coming out with small spots. I gave 4 star because staff was nice and welcoming but the main points of hygiene was really missing."
