"The resort was very comfortable and close to places to eat. They had a continental breakfast. The fireplace in the lobby was usually burning to take the edge off the crisp mornings. Staff were friendly."

"Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The Whip Bar and Grill on the premises is an excellent restaurant with good a good selection of entrees and drinks. I've seen some reviews where people were disappointed but if you tell the staff that the food did not meet expectations, I am sure that they would replace it with something to make it right. There are many people that don't communicate issues. A good estabishment like The Whip will take care of you if you let them."

"Wonderful stay. Dinner was excellent. We enjoyed the tours especially the family history tour. Our room was clean. Unfortunately the outlets on either side of the bed were not working(3 out of 4 outlets weren’t working). Fortunately my wife and I both travel with extension cords and could plug in our CPAP’s elsewhere. We complained about it each morning but it did not get fixed. "
