"Great location for exploring the Tri-State area of Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The pool and hot tub were amazing in the afternoon after traveling. The breakfast was delicious. Plus you are at a very large truck stop with lots of souvenirs to choose from. I even got a haircut there. Plus I watched the sunset both days from there and the view westward of I-44 was incredible. Will definitely stay here again."

"Excellent place to stay. Beautiful 1950s decor approprite for route 66. Friendly. Frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. Provided raised seat for toilet with rails to make it safe. Also provided shower handles for safety when we asked if they would consider them for future visits. We appreciated their attention to details for our safety. Special place to stay. Would return here to stay in a heartbeat if I come back here to visit. Wish other hotels would be as friendly and attentive to details. We stayed in several hotels in the last 3 weeks and this one ranked #1! "

"We stay at the La Quinta when we go the Joplin area! The staff is always friendly and accommodating! Love the indoor and outdoor pools, amazing outdoor family area! Breakfast is always good, the only thing that i would add to make it perfect, omelet bar! And most importantly this property is always clean, the rooms, the common areas, as well as the outdoors areas and surrounding grounds, and have never had a issue with safety or security. Would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Joplin Mo. area! "
