"Absolutely wonderful place to stop on the way to Koyasan. I will admit when I showed up at the inn I was later than expected, had walked many miles, and was in quite a bad mood. The welcome I received changed all of that. They took me straight to my room and gave me tea and treated me like I was part of their family. I had the best meal of my time in Japan at this inn. "The ryokan and the area surrounding it was absolutely beautiful. The staff are very kind and will take the time to assist as much as possible, even with the language barrier. Breakfast and dinner is included. A free shuttle is available for pickup/dropoff between 2 stations at certain times, inquire when making the reservations. Bathrooms were very clean and modern with everything you need, even face wash, hairbrushes, toothbrush etc. The positives are that it is very conveniently located and a good option after a long flight. The beds were quite firm but for the price and convenience this is something you can look past. "
