「We booked a king lake view room. It had heated floors, blackout curtains, beautiful art and the room was gorgeous. We felt like royalty. The staff was friendly and helpful in every way. We had the traditional Irish breakfast it was delicious. We did the falconry walk and boat rife of the lake. So much fun. The town of Cong is charming too. You will absolutely love Ashford Castle. The history is incredible and the art, bars, and restaurants are impeccable. 」

「We’ve never stayed at a 5 star hotel before so felt a bit out of our element. No one treated us as such though. The staff was amazing. The place was beautiful. The meals were incredible. You got to learn the history of the place in multiple ways. Location would have been easier if we’d had our own car, but it was well worth the extra effort to get there via taxi/train combo. 」

「We have a business suite for 2 nights to attend a wedding in the nearby castle. The resort itself is traditional, but it is absolutely delightful experience with the amenities it provided. It is not a 6 stars high-end luxury hotel, but you would definitely see its intention to make your stay feel comfortable and easy. The pool is amazing and breakfast is continental with plenty of choices. 」
