"Nice hotel but with a few issues that should be easily resolved and werent. Firstly it was in an extremely noisy position and had street noise all night with people in local bars screaming and shouting until about 4am both nights. Loud cars and motorbikes, bins banging and people screaming from bars until very late. The insulation on the windows is very average so it kept me up both nights which was not great visiting a lovely city being tired walking around. The room temperature controls can only be changed by scanning a QR code which goes to an app which doesn't work. I dont understand why hotels make the simple so complex. Just make these simple manual sliders please. We tried the hotel restaurant one night. Apart from being completely empty, and had the worst luke warm, tasteless, frozen pizza Ive had for many years. It also took 30 minutes to heat up when there were literally no other customers in the restaurant. I know it was a busy weekend but I stayed in most expensive and smallest room Ive ever stayed in of any hotel. Simple things didnt work. The shower gel didnt dispense and the shower head didnt stay in the right positionand couldnt be locked in position so had to be held all the way through. These are simple fixes that the hotel should be able to get right consistently. The position is pretty good, but this isnt a four star hotel in my view. More like two or three. Staff were lovely though but Im not sure I would stay here again. "

"Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Yes the lifts are snug, indeed the rooms too, but in your the heart of London, so understandable and good value at the price point for the sq.footage - go across the road to the Savoy and do the math on the cost per sq.foot if you disagree!! lol"

"J’y ai passé 3 nuits, l’hôtel est formidable et sa localisation parfaite. Mais l’entretien des chambres laisse à désirer. En arrivant tout est parfait, mais durant le séjour les verres et bouteilles vides ne sont pas ramsassés, le Vanity kit n’est pas remplacé. Pour un hôtel de ce niveau je me serais attendu à mieux du personnel de chambre. Piscine super, sauna A1"

"The penthouse had a sofa bed that had a horrible mattress and the bed made loud noises even with slight movement. Couldn’t sleep all night and woke up with backache and a headache. The lady at the front desk was rolling her eyes at the other guests. Not worth the money. Worst bed I have ever slept on, the view from the penthouse was also not good."

"The location was great for the destinations we wanted to see. Everything was very walkable from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel is in an alleyway off of a high street, the alleyway smells like urine and feaces. The check-in desk is behind a security screen with a security office behind that, the security guard was belching and the staff generally could not care less about you. One of the lifts is out of order and the other lift takes 10 minutes to visit all floors and then back down again takes the same. The rooms are filthy. The window, which is actually more like a door, did not stay shut, so had to sleep all night with it open. Other guests partying in their rooms. The public areas are a complete mess. Trollies filled with rubbish and building materials fill the bar area and hallways. The hotel is a complete joke. This is without a doubt the worst hotel in Birmingham. Do not stay here."
