"Located at the Northeast end of the villiage of Mompiche, only a 2-3 minute walk to the bustling, yet small center. The hotel is gated and ample parking is available inside the gates. I was greeted by Jose, one of the property managers who was very friendly. "There was a huge breakdown in communication. There is only one way to get to this resort and that is over the beach at low tide. Whilst they provided me with low tide information, they didn't tell me it was the only way to get to the hotel. Had I known this in advance (while booking!), I would not have chosen this hotel. There is no way I would drive over the beach with a rental small car that is not a 4-wheel drive SUV."

"This was the fourth time we stayed at this hotel. You cannot beat the pool and access to the ocean, but obviously the current management is not competent. The maintenance and service is not good and has really deteriorated from 3 yrs ago. I would rate this a 4 star 3 years ago, and maybe a 2-3 star now.
