Live Aqua Punta Cana - All Inclusive - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great trip, first all inclusive we've stayed at so I don't have much to compare to, BUT, it was far beyond expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were always clean. Plenty of space in the pool main pool, if you wanted a private area in the pool it was easy to find. There are also 2 other side pools that almost never had anyone in them. The only let down would be that the only beer available at all of the bars is Presidente. There are other drink options if you don't like pilsner (I do not). The red wine was decent enough, Jim Beam and Coke was my go to for a taste of home. Overall we had a great experience at Live Aqua and wouldn't hesitate to return."

"Just know the airport is far away from the hotel. With the excursions we booked at the hotel they wasn’t that great. (Adventure Park was the name) We had to leave our phones in the locker while doing the buggy ride even if you wasn’t driving. The took pictures which cost $20 per picture. Lastly the hotel is BIG. To get to the beach was a LONG walk."

"A Hidden Caribbean Gem This resort sits in untouched Dominican Republic far enough from the capital that you'll share it with countryside locals who've saved up for a resort escape. It feels like an actual destination. The Beach One of the country's best. White sand, warm water, no waves, stunning views, and immaculately maintained. This alone justifies the location. The Room Clean and well-kept. Does what it should. The Food Basic and honest. Fried chicken, salmon, skirt steak, pasta bar, salad bar, omelet bar, soups, bread. Limited rotation, but it works. Don't come for the cuisine. The Bar Good for getting drunk on cheap liquor. Fun, unpretentious. Not refined. The Logistics One two-lane road in and out makes getting here complicated. But if you commit to 3+ nights, you access some of the Caribbean's best beaches. Bottom Line Bring books. Bring loved ones. Disconnect. If you want peace, warm water, and views that remind you why the Caribbean matters, this delivers."
