「Location was great and the front desk staff very attentive and nice. We really enjoyed the bonfire and s’more’s at night, live music and some games with kids. We’ll be back again.」

「The room was nice. It was clean and smelled fresh and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It would have been nice if all the doors were accessible with the key card as the rear parking required a walk around the building to gain access. Also, it would have been nice to see the coffee and breakfast area available earlier than it was but I guess that I tend to be a early riser. Generally it was a great place to stay as I found it convenient for walking into town to enjoy...

「We booked a 1 story villa. It was Very dog friendly, all the villas are on the lake, with direct views and easy access to the lake. Kitchen was very usable, it had most tools needed. the room is aged but cabin cozy. bedroom is a bit small. 8min to lutsen mountains and easy access to superior hiking trails.. very bike friendly area. I would stay again!」

「The rooms need some TLC, patches in the tub were very noticable, caulking around the tub all mildew and old, and outdated bedspreads and blue carpet still.....There was no coffee available this morning at 7:30, coffee pot empty, then at 8:15 when we were checking out, still no coffee. Very disappointed ☹️」

「We got to stay in a room next to Lake Superior and we had a balcony were we could watch the sunrise. Very beautiful. Only a couple of minutes from Oberg Mountain. FYI they do not serve a full breakfast so plan accordingly!」

「This is an excellent and fun place to stay for the price. It’s designed to be an affordable family place with an outdoor fire pit right on the lake. It’s not the Ritz…it’s not a luxury resort. It’s a perfect place in a great location that everyone can afford. We have been here before and will return. Love Solbakken Resort!」

「Property right on lake. The outdoor sauna overlooking the lake was great. Fire pits were nice. Easy self check in. Room was a little dated but location was awesome. Would recommend if you are looking for a couple night stay.」

「The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated. Furniture was new as were the linens. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms all had an outdoor balcony and the views were terrific.」
