「We enjoyed our stay at Cascade Lodge on the North Shore of Lake Superior. We booked a room in the lodge with a view of the lake and were pleased. It was an excellent location to see all the water falls from Gooseberry State Park, Tettegouche State Park, Cascade State Park and Grand Portage, and to visit the Split Rock Lighthouse. 「The room was clean, but not kept up well. The staff was present. The breakfast was minimal, with few choices and nothing available for those who need to eat gluten-free. Fortunately, I travel with my own breakfast food. The air conditioner did not work, so we were forced to keep a window open, which didn't feel safe as we were right on the highway.
