"We wrote to the hotel that we should arrive after 21:00....no response or check-in arrangements were sent to us. We got there at 22:30 and the self check in machine was down....so no help. Eventually some guy / staff member appeared from nowhere.... First he said our booking is not real.... despite giving him my printed reservation and booking number.... despite being paid already! Then we managed to get a room. The guy refused to validate our room for wifi and said to use the visitor option...

As it was Bastille Day they had a local celebratory one off meal on a day when the restaurant was usually closed, and we were invited to join them as guests. "A hidden gem, the manor is tucked away on a domain easily overlooked. A beautiful house where we were by chance welcomed by the owner, chocolatier Daniel Mercier, with whom we shared stories and a cup of tea with chocolates. The room was gorgeous, fit for royalty, with a beautiful view of the grounds. Breakfast was top quality, heavy on delicious chocolate of course, well worth the caloric intake! We will be back for sure!"

"Séjour de 2 nuits dans le cadre d'un déplacement professionnel. Je fais attention au calme et la propreté des hébergements lorsque je me déplace. Ces 2 critères ont été satisfaits, en plus d'un magnifique cadre au milieu de la nature. En revanche cet hébergement convient davantage pour un séjour en amoureux que pour un déplacement professionnel en solo :).
