The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!」

「I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning. 「Jardín Entre Montañas was one of our most memorable stays in Costa Rica. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can feel the care and pride they have put into everything. The cabins are very cute, simple, and spotlessly clean—clearly built with love by the family themselves. It feels personal and genuine, not commercial. They opened our rooms so we could change and have them wash and dry our clothes. Gave us hot ‘agua dulce’ to warm up, and put logs in the chimney so we warmed up. 「Die Finca ist ein wunderschöner Ort mitten in der Natur, die Bungalows sehr ansprechend und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Es waren frische Blumen im Zimmer, alles war sauber und zum wohlfühlen. Sehr gute Küche; die Produkte werden auf der Finca angebaut und kommen frisch auf den Tisch. Guter Service auf unaufgeregte Art in entspannter Atmosphäre. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen.」
