Great staff and clean amenities. Pools are small but nice. Not enough lounges for amount of guests. Unfortunately our booking didn’t include breakfast so had to pay. Better facilities at other hotels but still ok.

Loved loved the location, next to the beach. Beautiful location for breakfast or dinner. Felt the property is a little old, and still needs some upgrading. Staff just fabulous. Strange having another pool across the complex, but beautiful surroundings, so lush and so well maintained. Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much.

Stayed in Deluxe garden room which was lovely. On second floor with view of ocean. Breakfast ok.The pool near the reception was beautiful and loved it. The beach pool was not well planned. Only 4 pool lounges so rarely one available. The only entrance to the pool was a ladder that was so hard to get out of pool with. I slipped on it and broke my little toe which severely impacted my holiday..it is not a user friendly area at all. Would only stay again if that area is improved.

Limited sun lounges at both front and back pool , beach pool is above ground and is stupid with no where to sit , if you can get a seat you can’t put your drinks or meal on your room account , bintangs are 68,000 plus tax the dearest in Bali so not good

Great location. Did not like having an accessible bathroom not enough storage. Rooms were not cleaned very well just make the bed and sweep the floor. Grout in shower was very stained. The hotel garden is beautiful breakfast good. I would definitely stay again but different run type next time.

I expected this to be a new hotel nearing completion, but in fact it is an old one undergoing a major renovation. There was significant mould in the bathroom and the smell from the bathroom plumbing was very strong at night. I have stayed in many hotels right across Indonesia during many business trips, but haven't struck such a strong sewerage smell before. The staff, however, we fantastic.

Bed wonderful and firm, room clean. Hotel didn't live up to its hype- very noisy room with children thumping around next door at all hours. I'd booked this hotel advertised as adults only, which it wasn't. Many facilities advertised not open. Feels like a soulless concrete chain hotel. People hassling you on the hotel beach chairs for massages and buying things, and no service from staff for food or drinks on sunloungers. The noise made it very hard to sleep. Food is mostly western which is disappointing on holidays.

Lovely, clean hotel…beautiful, well maintained grounds… Gorgeous, friendly, helpful staff…can not fault the staff at all…beautiful! Average room, very clean, nice, but just an average hotel room. The pools…..this is the hotels downfall. After a day of exploring…all I want is to swim and sit by the pool. This hotel has two pools. One pool is a beachside, infinity pool…pretty to look at…however, there is not one sun lounge around the pool to sit on and enjoy the pool (it is an infinity pool on all sides…so the pool literally sticks up out of the ground)…you can’t just jump in, or lower yourself into it, or sit around it. The only way to get in and out of this pool is one ladder…a ladder! This is a HUGE design fault…didn’t use this pool at all…neither did anyone else… The 2nd pool…apparently only a few months old…another infinity pool…just one set of stairs to get in and out…so if you are lucky to get one of the few sun lounges on the wrong side of the pool…you have to walk all around to the other side of the pool to get in via the stairs…it is a beautiful pool…but very small. The WORST part is that there are approx 12 sun lounges around this pool…12! For over 200 customers! I AM VERY AWARE THAT THIS IS A FIRST WORLD PROBLEM…but when I am finally able to go on a holiday…I do want to enjoy it! I know not everybody wants to sit around a pool, but for those who do…and there were a lot…this is a big problem…I witnessed many heated arguments (screaming!) I will not stay again 😞

Very underwhelming stay and I feel like the reviews so far are a little misleading. Room and property was clean and free bike hire. That’s about it for the highlights. Lowlights. Nowhere to sit around the pool. A few lounge beds that were not close to the pool and when you were in the pool it was like you were in the bar. Not relaxing. Property is nowhere near finished and even when it is I don’t think it will be up to scratch. Went to check in a little before the time. Property was completely empty. Staff said they would WhatsApp us when the room was ready and it was a roasting hot day. No WhatsApp message before the check in time or after and no offer for towels and to sit around the pool whilst we waited for the room to be ready. Bathroom wasn’t great for a recently renovated room either. Wouldn’t say it was modern. Would not return

We absolutely loved our stay at El Hotel Resort. We originally came over from Seminyak for a visit and loved the resort and area so much that we decided to book our last few days here. We were also lucky enough to be upgraded to a villa with a private pool, which made the stay even better. The staff were amazing from start to finish; consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. The resort is beautiful following the renovations. It was still in its soft opening, with some construction happening, but this had no impact on our stay. We were told it should officially open next month and it will be exciting to see everything finished. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of options and a cooked-to-order egg station. Everything we tried was delicious. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with lovely calm water that was great for swimming. It’s also an easy walk to Icon Mall, restaurants, cafes and spas. A couple of small things could be improved: there weren't quite enough loungers around the main pool at busy times, and the beach umbrellas were difficult to move. A clothes-drying rack in the rooms would also be useful. Other than those minor points, it was genuinely hard to find much to complain about, and none would stop us returning. The grounds were beautifully maintained, incredibly lush and tropical, with such a lovely atmosphere. We had an amazing stay and are already keen to come back next year. A huge thank you to the whole team!

The room was spacious, modern and kept beautifully clean. Bathroom was well lit and modern. Sitting down on the sun lounges on the beach was lovely as was having close access to the beach walk for walks. Hotel had lots of really good restaurants close by.
