It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. 「连锁酒店，还是可以的，但是就是没有电梯，拿着行李下楼梯不是很方便。」

「酒店的整体景观很漂亮。距离市中心有一点距离，但是却落得安静。我们被安排在后面的一个WING，面向后山，距离大堂要走很长的路，因此没有什么噪声。但是采光和景观稍逊一些。房间尺寸比较大。竟然没有烧水壶，联系客房后提供给我们。卫生间镜子正对着卧室。游泳池在阳光下很舒适。酒店员工没有那么热情。如果有车出行，那么在这里可以考虑在这里休整。」

「We really enjoyed our stay here. From arriving, the staff on the front desk and in restaurants were on hand to help every step of the way. Room was really spacious and we loved the balcony overlooking Kandy lake. Pool was small, but good to dip into! Although it was quite chilly. Really great location too. Only thing I would say is housekeeping was quite late in the day!」

「酒店门前的确在修路，从市区10公里过来的路要开半小时。估计还要修个把月。酒店不大，一共能接待10几个住客，但是该有的都有了。餐饮不是其他大酒店的自助，反倒可以支持随点随做，甚至早餐。使得更有一种家的感觉。泳池的确没有加热，比较冷。我很喜欢花园草坪。可以在黄昏时爬上后面的茶山看日落。风景如画。几个小问题，酒店没有外币兑换，不能安排什么DAY TOUR，晚餐价格比起当地水平贵了一些。是值得推荐的酒店。」

「除了用餐准备时间太长外，几乎无可挑剔。 不知道为什么会把酒店名翻译成“象牙”，太误导了。这是奥利芬家族私邸改建的酒店。 酒店很多基础设施，都有150年历史。即便新配置的家具，多半也是安装殖民时期的风格配置的，所以一走进酒店就有穿越到十九世纪的感觉。 入住当天只有我们一行5人，所以两个管家服务的很周到。只是用餐准备的时间太长，从点餐到上前餐花了一个多小时时间，因为现点现做，后厨只有一个厨师和帮手的原因。这难免引起我们的不快，我们的不满弄得两位管家很紧张，反而让我们有些心不安。晚餐虽然准备时间很长，但做的很地道，于是把不满化作感谢，大家皆大欢喜。」

「Gorgeous rooms and beautiful owners. Kumari & Joseph are so accomodating. The bus stops right in front of the path to the hotel, followed by an uphill stretch to reach the summit. So it's an easy & cheaper access to the city by bus. Highly recommended place to stay. 」

「一下車就被飯店正門吸引，很有英國殖民風格的飯店。與歷史淵源結合，真的是來此地最好的選擇。房間有暖爐，讓一下從30度平地來到此地的我們不至於因12度的夜晚而感冒。房間裝潢典雅，浴缸的配置也讓我們能夠讓我們在熱水中舒緩幾日以來在古蹟行走的辛勞。位置絕佳，致central market或是Post office 只需步行幾分鐘。英式花園小而美，一片陸地搭配主建築物讓我們好像似過去貴族。飯店附設的Grand india餐廳是我們在斯國吃到最好吃的餐，在hotels.com訂房還能享有15%的優惠，真的是很物超所值!」

「Beautiful accommodation, great breakfast, and super friendly staff. The place is a bit remote, but we were aware of that, as we wanted to be surrounded by tea plantations. Simply wonderful.」

「We have been in Sri Lanka for over a week now and this hotel has been the best one we’ve stayed at. It is a bit of a walk from the city but can always get a very cheap tuk tuk. Extremely clean and very good breakfast. 10/10」

「Cassendra staff eere welcoming and helpful - even before I arrived. They helped me find affordable transport for a day trip and when needed were able to serve my dinner extra quickly. Wifi was touch and go but ultimately held for a few video calls. The hotel is a bit old but rooms are spacious and clean with great bathrooms. The location is know to tuktuk drivers and the mountain offers amazing views. Its also very close to the best Kandyan dancers (5 min walk) and a view point!」
