A short ferry ride but a world away from the crowds in Mykonos is the marvelous archaeological site of Delos. What was once among the most important religious centers of Ancient Greece is now one of the best preserved archaeological sites in all of Greece. The entire island is set aside as an archaeological park and is largely free to explore. Frequent guided tours are also a very good value if you want to dig deeper into the history of this amazing island.

"This was a lovely room. Decorated with taste. I really liked the location. Close to bus terminus, right infront of the port, cose to the shops. Breakfast was really good. The owners were so nice. They gave us the names of different restaurants in the area. They also gave us maps of the area. I would return here."

"We had a wonderful romantic stay at this beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views. The sun lights up the place from morning through afternoon, making it the perfect spot to relax. "Excellent choice for a boutique hotel, great staff, welcoming, accommodating and very friendly. Went at a quiet time end of season, very peaceful, greatly appreciated the upgrade, easy check in process and easy to get the shuttle. Transportation taken by hotel driver to Mykonos town was easy access. Thank you Thanos, excellent Spa services thank you Mediea sp? "Hotel Madalena was beautiful and perfectly maintained. The view from our room was amazing and only 5 minutes walk from the Mykonos town. Sakis was very helpful and knowledgeable and provided great tips to make our visit to Mykonos all the more enjoyable. My only comment is that hairdryers are outdated and inefficient, so if you care about your hair (like I do), bring your own hairdryer that is compliant with European electric standards. "

"This is a beautiful hotel with an amazing view over the ocean, the pool is out of this world, the beach is steps away. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms have its’ own sitting and lounging area outside, very nice bathroom. The only downfall for me was the thumping music that was playing non stop. I just put on my iPods and listed to my own music."
