"This is a lovely hotel. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Fresh laundered white bedding and towels. Very good breakfast and we had one evening meal which was also very good. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Communal areas very impressive. Easy pleasant walk along the promenade into the centre of Torquay or by the 12 bus which stops outside the hotel."

"Hotel has a very nice interior but dated in parts. External is solid concrete and outside areas need a bit of updating. They advertise their external pool but looks like it has been out of action for a very long time. Staff were excellent, breakfast was very good."
