Good stay with family

The hotel has a lot of construction going on. But the views are great and the staff are very friendly.and helpful. Quite dusty due to the construction and the gym is being built and restaurant is under construction. Food was very good and breakfast is great. Room is spacious.

Hospitality is excellent and location is perfect. Management is very responsive and staff hospitable. However there is a disconnect on the online booking regarding already paid breakfast option which doesn’t reflect on the hotel account which can be an irritant. Also the food could be improved upon. Otherwise excluding online booking confusion and a little improvement in the food this place deserves a 5 star.

Great location, in need of room renovation

The location is excellent but the hotel is in poor condition. The ceiling in the bathroom leaked from the floor above, the safe was broken, and the service was indifferent. The restaurant was clean and the breakfast nice with a good selection.

The hotel staff is friendly, the hotel amenities are very efficient and effective, and the view of the mountains from the top two floors - is just fantastic. Had a bit of a medical emergency, and the hotel had no immediate response. They did not know how to call a doctor, but they did provide a car to take me to the hospital next-door but did not offer the car service to come back.

Very Pleasant Stay at Ramada, Darjeeling

We had a wonderful time at Ramada, Darjeeling. Very courteous hotel staffs; they were always ready to help. Clean rooms and great housekeeping. Food was good as well. Great location, just across the clock tower and a few minutes of walk to the mall. Those who are travelling to Darjeeling to get a taste of the serenity and calmness of this beautiful hill station might not like the location of the hotel due to the cacophony of busy streets throughout the day and the close proximity of the taxi stand, but for me the location of the hotel worked as an advantage. All the shops and restaurants were at very close by.

Overall good stay. Hotel location is very good. Cleanliness of towels and sheets poor. The rooms and corridors are very noisy and full of disturbance. No sound proofing and it is not a quiet environment inside the hotel/rooms.

Immature staff, no patience. Requested for early check in around 12.20pm and early check out on same day around 7.00pm. Girl (Roshini) startrd talking in arrogant tone saying, she can't do anything until 2.00pm.After asking them to call manager, he apologized and gave us one of the two rooms we booked, when we requested him to help give other room, he started behaving rude too. I agree check.in time is 2.00pm but their attitude in explaining this point was extremely arrogt

Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und professionell. Mein Zimmer war sauber uns ordentlich mit einem schönen Bad und einem wirklich bequemen Bett. Vom Balkon (mit einer Hängematte) hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Berge (wenn es die Wolken erlauben) Natürlich ist es aufgrund der zentralen Lage und des erstaunlichen Verkehrs recht laut, was aber durch die Annehmlichkeiten aufgewogen wird. Kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Great view of Kanchenjunga, poor maintenance

The location is amazing. You can actually see Kanchenjunga right from the balcony if you opt for those special rooms. This is rare in Darjeeling proper - so this hotel is pretty unique from that perspective. However - the hotel is poorly maintained and room cleanliness (especially bed sheets, pillow covers, etc.) is not as per expectation.

Perfect location for exploring Darjeeling. Breakfast caters for the different cultures. Pool ,Spa and Bar were closed due to end of season maintenance but wasnt an issue as other options available View from hotel was spectular

Centrally located with hot room temperature

Hotel is at prime location next to Mall Road. It also has mountain view rooms, only uncomfortable thing was the room temperature set by centralised air heating. It was made very hot and despite letting the reception know about the issue solution was not done.
