"Joesph was awesome. Upgraded to suite, king bed beautifully high & comfortable. Large bath towels modern big bathroom, no exhaust fan. Very close to central station."

"Excellent check-in - smiling receptionist and quick - all done in two or three minutes. Foyer was being painted so there was a strong paint smell, but as usual room was warm, clean and quiet. The only drawback is that most rooms look onto a 'square' with other rooms also looking onto it from opposite, which means that for privacy curtains have to be kept closed most of the time - but that also means that rooms are quiet with no traffic noise. This is my go-to hotel in Sydney for its proximity to Central Station and both light rail lines. And, unlike some hotels where you are told you can't check in before check-in time, this has never been a problem at Great Southern."
