This property has a misleading description. It lusts a bar, breakfast available, and a restaurant. It has none of these. You also have to remove your shoes outside and learve them there. I didn't like this as they could be stolen or have something crawl in them. Also, we booked 2 private rooms with one bed. We got 2 rooms with 2 beds in each and werd told that we couldn't touch the other bed as we only paid for one bed. So, we didn't get what we paid for. And at the end of your stay, they count ip how many water bottles you drank and charge you for them. This wasn't told to us on arrival. Otherwise, it was walking distance, although a bit far, to Old Town. There were coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Wouldn't stay here again.

The staff was all very helpful and very nice! The breakfast was very good. The room was clean, well air-conditioned, and had a full bathroom which made the experience very comfortable. The property was only a quick 10-15 minute ride to most of the major destinations in Hoi An.

주인분들은 따숩고 친절하세요 방도 괜찮았는데 흐린 날에 가서 그런건지 좀 꿉꿉했어요.. 쩐췌쩍우료 꺀귯했뉸데 췸돼 하놔에서 짝운 뻘레둘이 쬼 마뉘 냐왔어욥 쩡쇼 해쮸쒸뉸 쁀께 이뿔 꾜체해딸라꼬 말쓤 뜨렸뉸데 텰어내기만 하꼬 안하쉰 겻 가탸써욥 (자국이 똑같았음) 올드타운까지 걸어서 20분 걸려요 근데 길 익숙해지니까 걸어다닐만 했음 마지막 날 자전거 빌려서 동네 한 바퀴 돌았는데 좋았어요 다낭까지 30만동에 태워주셨어요

Dejligt sted, lidt for lydt men gratis cykler!

Meget lækre værelser! Dog lidt for åbent i forhold til lyd da alle badeværelse hænger sammen på tværs af etagerne og det giver larm, hvis folk synger på værelset. Lidt træls der ikke står priser på minibaren, men det er virkelig et dejligt sted, og de har gratis cykler man kan låne, virkelig fedt! For det tager lidt tid at komme til Hoi An centrum derfra.

Experiencia fenomenal

Me encantó la cama muy cómoda el personal muy amable y siempre queriendo ayudar. Las bicicletas puedes tomarlas gratis para ir al old town que es el atractivo principal (10 mins). La ubicación es apartada para mi gusto pero se resuelve con la bici o un taxi te cobra alrededor de 1 dolar o por llevarte al old town. Lo recomiendo definitivamente me sentí como en casa en todo momento.

ちょっと遠い

観光場所からちょっと遠いのが難点です。日本橋から徒歩で30分ほどかかります。タクシーなどを使う人はそこら辺は気にしなくて大丈夫だと思います。 部屋やバスルームなどはとても綺麗で宿のおじいちゃんも言葉が通じないながらもとても親切で優しかったです。 翌日の移動もマーブルマウンテンに行って観光後にミーケビーチまでで45万ドンで対応してくれました。 少し高いかもしれなかったのですが、宿で全部英語が話せるおっちゃんスタッフと決めたので、そこら辺のタクシーに乗って交渉するよりは楽かもしれません。 ただ、1つだけ残念だったのが、宿に到着したのは夕方6時だったのですが、到着時フロントには誰もいなかったので、荷物を預けずに街まで出ていきました。 綺麗さを求めるなら、アリです！

Best location/price/value of entire Vietnam trip!

Staying at Blue Lake Homestay was an absolute pleasure and for the price/location I don't believe you will find a better stay. The family that owns this homestay are so helpful and truly do make you feel at home. We stayed in the deluxe double room with the garden view which was surprisingly very nicely updated and spacious, complete with a nice large shower and comfy bed. The quaint and cozy patio was perfect for enjoying fresh air and made to order breakfast. Bicycle rentals are free and it is a lovely 10min ride to old Hoi An city center or a seanic 15-20 min ride to An Bang beach. Though we only stayed one day I left wishing I could have stayed longer specifically at Blue Lake. I would absolutely recommend Blue Lake Homestay to everyone!

Great stay

I stated here for five days and it was great. I arrived early, but they were totally cool about it. The family was super friendly and helpful. They helped me plan my activities each day, but they were never pushy about anything. When I got home and wanted to relax, they left me alone. The homestay is in a great location, about the same distance from the beach and the Old Town. They have bikes to use for FREE, and it was also very easy to rent a motorbike from them when I wanted to explore stuff further away. (Marble mountain, hai van pass) They are happy to make breakfast early or late, and it is delicious. The room was always clean and had all the standard amenities. I will definitely stay there again when I go back.

Excellent!

I knew I wouldn't be disappointed as the reviews were excellent. The home was clean, modern, the family was SO NICE and welcoming. Yes, the stay is a bit far from the HoiAN old town but that is apparent in the stay's information. You can easily get to town with a 5 minute taxi ride that costs about $1.5-$2. The one thing is that since it's Vietnam, there was a house lizard in my room. Luckily, it didn't bother me much but I figured if you're not a nature kind of adventurous person you would mind.

As a solo female traveler, I can honestly say I've never felt more safe, taken care of and comfortable than I did while staying here with this sweet, caring and wonderful family. Some of the kindest people I've encountered while traveling Southeast Asia. And on top of all that the beds are comfy, the rooms are clean, and it's conveniently located a short bike ride away from the ancient city and An Bang beach. This homestay holds a special place in my heart.

Homestay but nicer than a hotel!

Very nice staff, particularly the mother of the family. They have free bike rentals and give you advice about the city. This was nicer than most of the hotels we stayed at on our Vietnam trip.

Very welcoming and nice homestay

I had an amazing stay at Blue Lake Homestay. Had planned two nights but ended up staying four. The homestay is about 1,5 km from the old city, and 3 km from the An Bang Beach, lying almost right in between the two popular places to visit. All guests can borrow bikes for free so getting there is no problem. The family was very welcoming and fun, though only one daughter spoke good English. Nice 6-bed dorm with slightly hard beds. The only downside was that there is a bar/restaurant just around the corner that plays music from 7 am to 22 pm every day, which can get annoying and disturb sleep. Would definitely come here again.

Kindest people of Vietnam

I loved this homestsy and the family running it. Of course it's not perfect, the towels are a bit small and it's not very close to the old town ( but they provide bicycles FOR FREE), but this family has been wonderful during the 3 nights i stayed there. I travel alone, and maybe I'm more sensible to kindness than people traveling with friends or couples, and i really felt like they cared about me ( and not for my money as it's usual in Asia), they even offered me to have lunch with them ( and, for free, I'm not kidding). Only their daughter can speak a good english, but they will always try to reply to you. Highly recommended ( and the price is cheap)

Magnifique demeure et magnifique famille.

Hostel familiale très bien tenu. Très chaleureux, les propriétaires sont là pour vous. Maison très propre et accueillante. Le dortoir de 6, un luxe! rarement vu ça. Seul bémol, le matelas est trop dur à mon goût. Emplacement un peu éloigné de la vieille ville historique mais au centre de toutes les activités possibles à faire dans la région et surtout calme. Mise à disposition gratuite de vélo. L'hôtel loue également des scooters. Excellent hostel à petit budget!! Very beautiful hostel. The family host is wonderfull and so kind. The dorm room is just amazing, I never see that for a dormitory. Thank you very much, you are a beautiful family.

I spent 2 nights in a wonderful house with a wonderful family! they are all helpful and friendly! Quynh Is a really beautiful and nice person, she tells you everything and gives you useful tips.. The room was huge and I slept in a great bed, everything is perfectly clean, towels and courtesy service are included in the price. There is a possibility to take the bike to go for a ride in the city.. I highly recommend this homestay, it was a great experience having known you! Thanks again! Andrea -Italy-

Bel homestay calme et reposant

Un peu loin du centre mais il y a des vélos a disposition. Les propriétaires sont d'une très grande gentillesse. La chambre est grande et la literie confortable. Petit déjeuner un peu simple (une boisson et un plat)

올드타운과 도보로는 거리가 좀 있지만 숙소에서 무료 자전거 대여 가능하므로 전혀 문제 없슴

beautiful homestay with fantastic family

We stayed at the Blue Lake for 4 nights in the garden room. The room was beautiful and clean, almost looked brand new. The family could not have been anymore accommodating and welcoming and would do anything to help. I was very ill one day and they all looked after me and brought me food and water and checked on me throughout the day. The homestay is in the perfect location if you want to visit both the beach and old town, only 10 minutes cycle each way. Having the bicycles was a great advantage and we used them everyday. Would definately return!
