「Nice looking hotel in a lovely location. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park making it ideal to get out and about either walking, hiking, and cycling in the surrounding area. Waterfall country is about a 30 minute drive away. Very friendly and polite staff. Food was on the slightly pricey side but it was excellent quality. 「Myself and my partner were really impressed by the beautiful decor at Lanelay Hall the hotel and our room was very spacious - the biggest room I’ve ever had whilst staying at a hotel. The happy birthday treats and petals were a really kind lovely touch too. The location was disappointing as we pulled up to the hotel gates in a housing estate (our expectation was a countryside hotel). 「We have stayed at the Vale a number of times in the past. Clean rooms, helpful staff. Normally play golf which is also good.」

「It's a very clean and good HOTEL. It's a little bit modern for my taste but the biggest issue I had was that it is far from the city centre where a lot of the activities are if you don't have a car expect to walk or take Uber anywhere.」
