Yes as we stayed we went in the bathroom to take a shower as I was sitting there trying to take my clothes off and stuff I'm looks down by the sink and there were two bugs I took them and show them to the person she said they been having problems with carpet bugs which I never understand what it's carpet bug I spent my money man my husband and I feel like that's wrong that we need to get our money back for this trip because what if they're in our clothes that we brought home and then we can't get rid of and I have babies in my house so I'm going to stand by this this is crazy but if people have bugs in their place and knew they had them and don't do nothing about them but now if we bought them home I will have the biggest issue I went through Expedia to make sure everything was good but it wasn't thank you very much

We had been to the hotel multiple times prior to the casino, but this was our first time back since the casino opened. We hoped the casino would be less visible for overnight guests, however, the Casino, lights, and feel are directly across from the check-in desk and can not be avoided. It was not terrible, but the charm of the property is not the same despite the continued beauty of the area. We will not be going back in the future.

Every year my husband sends me to a nice hotel with a spa for my birthday. It’s a great chance to relax and get some rest as we have two young kids and I am TIRED. This was my first time staying at Rocky Gap and I was drawn there as I’d heard wonderful things about the in room dining and spa. My goal was to read some good books, order room service, spend some time in the outdoor areas, and get a pedicure. Upon arriving, I attempted to call the Lakeside Grill to order room service but was unable to reach anyone. Ultimately, I learned that room service was discontinued a few months ago which was disappointing. However, the restaurant was beautiful and the food and service were good. I received a phone call on Saturday morning indicating that the nail technician “did not show” and my 11:00 pedicure was re-scheduled for the following day, Sunday at 10:00. I was offered late check out which was a nice accommodation. However, I received a phone call Sunday morning indicating again that the nail tech did not show and so the pedicure had to be cancelled. There was no type of comp offered and the spa was one of the main attractions for me. Additionally, my room was never cleaned or serviced despite my being there for three days. I had hoped to come back to a turned down bed, fresh towels, and replacement coffee for the morning but that never happened. I did not have an objection to going down to the lobby to order coffee but because of the casino that line was typically quite long.

Pros: Clean, large room facing the lake. Live entertainment on the weekend. Great local state parks for hiking. Cons: No scheduled housekeeping services, had to request clean towels. Half shower door made for a chilly shower until room warmed up.

Stayed here for our visit to Rocky gap casino. Nice casino. Small but good selection of slots. Lakeside grill has awesome food and cocktails. Beautiful views of the lake.
