「The check-in process was disappointing because I had to ask about nearly everything. The listing stated that a parking tag would be provided if parking was included, but none was given. When I asked, I was told that parking required an additional fee, which was then added to our room. The pool also costs extra, and unfortunately, it was not worth it. We went to use the hot tub but were told we couldn’t use it because the bubbles weren’t running. The staff member who told us was not friendly or...

「Perfectly good hotel but one of the more basic Malmaisons. In a large house with winding staircases, which are difficult for anyone who struggles with that. Pleasant staff. Limited food options outside of main service hours.」

「My favorite hotel in Scotland. Consistent excellent standards in hospitality, comfort, and food. Only negative is the decor in most of the public areas is starting to look tired.」

「The hotel was very clean and rooms were beautiful. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The mattress could probably be changed as you could feel the springs. Other than that, it was great.」

「Noisy hotel outside, your next to a lot of bars and clubs. Noisy cars going past a lot. If your wanting a chilled good night's sleep it wont happen here. Great if your looking for a hotel for a night out.」

「Absolutely beautiful apartment. Great location across the street from the river for a nice stroll on the path by the river. It’s stocked with every possible amenity — even an espresso machine and ice maker. The kitchen is well stocked. The host is exceptionally responsive to any questions that may arise. Check in/out process was seamless. I would highly recommend for a 5-star experience.」

「The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes 」
