"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel de l’Ecluse. The property was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent for exploring Neuchâtel, especially the lakefront, the Collegiate Church, and the castle area, all within easy walking distance. A couple of maintenance issues could use attention — the toilet seat in our room was loose and the shower drain cover kept coming off during use. The room was also quite warm at night. "Schiff am see was a nice, comfortable hotel in Murten. Like most hotels in Switzerland, getting there and around town is a bit of “up and down” walking. The front desk staff, Stephanie and Tina were most helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the restaurant is available for evening meals. We had no issues with the room. We are comfortable walking stairs. Murten is an interesting town with an interesting history."

"It looks like the business is starting from scratch with this econcierge thing. I think they need experience to find the correct balance. I was there for two days, the only rubbish bin in my room was a very small one in the bathroom. It may work for one night stay but if someone stay few days they may fill up the room with rubbish. Experience should put these new business niggles right."
