This property is very nice! My only complaint was the AC didn’t keep the room cool so staff brought us a portable fan that worked perfectly. The property is hard to get to but once we got there, we were happy (except for lack of parking. The public garage was expensive). Location was perfect! Staff were very nice and hotel was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay in Bern.

This hotel was very close to both the train station and the main tourist activities. The location was excellent! On top of that, the staff were gracious and kind, eager to help and provide suggestions for meals and tourist sites, and directions. The room was spotless, with great AC to cool the room during a hot day! Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. I couldn't recommend more!

Friendly and helpful staff; clean well-appointed rooms. We arrived early and were given a choice of taking a warmer street facing-room immediately or waiting for a cooler courtyard-facing room. We took the street-facing. It was fine, although the air con wasn’t the strongest. Appreciated being given the choice.

Perfect location! Highly recommended! So close to Bern train station and steps to Coop City where we ate twice at top floor restaurant and bought lots of Swiss chocolates. Enjoyed walking through the covered passages (escape from summer heat). So close to the nighttime happenings at the Old Town minus the noise. Spacious room. Fan in the room in case aircon not enough to fight summer heat. Small fridge with free water bottles. Water also available in the reception area. Free Bern transportation pass which we downloaded on our phones. Very welcoming staff offering free chocolates! Will book this hotel again next time we are in Bern.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a great location close to the train station and in walking distance to so many things to do and see in Bern. Very good breakfast and the staff doing the breakfast made sure that we got there in time and had enough food to eat. The AC in the room was not to American standards but for European AC it was good and kept the room comfortable despite the high heat the area was experiencing. Would definitely recommend and stay there again if we travel to Bern.

Minha hospedagem na noite de 27 de junho foi extremamente frustrante. Em meio à onda de calor que atinge a Europa, é inadmissível que o ar-condicionado do hotel não funcionasse adequadamente. Passei uma péssima noite, precisei tomar um medicamento para conseguir dormir e acordei passando mal, a ponto de praticamente perder todo o dia seguinte da minha viagem. Um hotel pode ter muitos pontos positivos, mas falhar justamente no conforto básico para o descanso do hóspede é algo inaceitável.

We only stayed in Bern one night, but had a very comfortable stay at the Savoy. It was in a great location-walkable to sites and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We hope to return to Bern for a longer stay at some point in the future and we’ll stay here again!
