"We had a good stay at Outbound Mammoth. The room was clean and comfortable, and the property had a nice mountain atmosphere. It wasn’t anything overly fancy, but it had everything we needed and was a good value for the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back. A solid 4 out of 5."

"I cannot say enough about how incredible our stay was at the Village Lodge. They have the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the perfect stay, always with a smile and a kind word. The room was immaculate and they even accommodated our request for a pool view, which was the cherry on top to our stay. There is an awesome fitness center and a swim in the pool and soak in the jacuzzis were the perfect way to end the day. There are fabulous restaurants, entertainment and shops right outside the hotel doors. I cannot wait to come back! I give this place 10 out of 5 stars!"

"Loved the room. The view was amazing. The room was very clean and well furnished. Everything was in working order. We stopped on the way up to Lake Tahoe. We liked the area so much we stopped on the way back too. And there was no question on where to stay. We stayed at the Sierra House on the way back too"

"Had been backpacking with my family for over a week with my family had 3 rooms booked. We came early just after 3 pm to see if we could check in early. I didn't even say anything, just started to walk up to the window to see and he snapped at me and said I couldn't check in until 4pm. Before 3:30 a couple came out with their keys, obviously having checked in. So I went to wait inside, another family came, tried to check in and couldn't. I went up again and he said our room wasn't ready, fine. Proceeded to check in at least 2-3 more groups without saying anything to me. The group that couldn't check in came back and asked me if I had still been waiting to check in(as he was checking in someone else) and I said yes. The host overheard and then said our room was almost ready. He called me up after that group after waiting an hour with no communication or acknowledgement that I had been waiting. He was nice enough checking me in but I just really didn't appreciate being snapped at and ignored. Room was fine, grab and go breakfast ok. Hot tub not working and even though it said to mention if that was an issue, seemingly no accommodations made for it. Restaurant/bar over priced and basic."
