「This is a lovely hotel to stay at. The pictures don't really do it justice. Courtney the owner up graded us to a larger room as the room that was allocated via the website was very small. Everything was very clean and was supplied with adequate tea,coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. These were topped up every day. The room was cleaned and the bed made up daily. 「We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. 」

「Gave a lower score for service because we had to wait over an hour for food and when it finally arrived, as it had been sitting under a heat lamp the pastry was rock hard and very difficult to cut into. The delay was blamed on a wedding taking place, sorry, thats not my problem, any possible delays to food should be communicated, so customers can choose to go elsewhere.」
