Beautiful place and well maintained. Staff was extremely professional and kind. I would recommend to anyone looking for a charming and quiet room with character.
Beautiful and very comfortable room. Unfortunately the fireplace could not be persuaded to work but it was not really a problem. Next time we will visit in the season as many restaurants were still on winter hours and so the choice was a bit limited.
Everything was lovely. The Continental self-serve breakfast is a break from a traditional B&B, and nice to take at your own pace. Very welcoming and accommodating staff.
The manor is really really nice. It was builtin 1875 and the restauration they did is amazing. It is close to best restaurants in Cowansville Quebec. It was a very nice stay.
Beautiful historic property with all modern amenities and friendly, helpful staff. Clean and very inviting. Very much enjoyed a room equipped with a natural gas fireplace. Look forward to returning in warmer seasons, and will recommend to friends and family.
Lovely bed and breakfast. Very quiet. Large clean well furnished room. The only negative is that it is described as a bed and breakfast but breakfast was only available on weekends - which we knew ahead of time but it was an inconvenience to search for a breakfast place on week days
Breakfast served on weekend was excellent
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this manoir! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating — it truly made a difference in our experience.
The atmosphere was peaceful and charming, with every corner of the property beautifully maintained. Our room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. We also appreciated the spacious parking area, which made arriving and leaving so easy and stress-free. The breakfast was simple but satisfying — a great way to start the day before heading out.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this manoir to anyone looking for exceptional service, warm hospitality, and a relaxing getaway. We would definitely love to return!
Beautiful property and room! I stayed here on the last night of a week-long solo holiday in the Eastern Townships.
I arrived on a Friday evening after the hosts were offsite and discovered that I’d booked a room on the main floor; I am a single woman travelling alone and prefer upper-floor rooms. I called the owner and explained the situation and she very kindly offered me an upstairs room at no extra charge. The bed was comfy and the toiletries were very nice. And as someone who has seasonal allergies I was impressed by how many tissue boxes were in the room and the building! :)
Buffet breakfast was included and it was delicious, with a variety of healthy items to choose from. The dining room and lounge were also beautiful! And, the desk at the front door had all of the cycling maps (in English!) that I’d been searching for all week.
Would happily stay here again!
Curb appeal is the first confirmation that you made a good choice when choosing a property and our confirmation was a fail. The grounds had not been given attention for quite some time. Our room selection had been upgraded in order to accommodate another guest and we were OK with that. Very comfortable bed but there was no wifi to connect to, which also affected the temperature control for the room. We were excited for our first French-Canadian breakfast but, while the dining room was arranged beautifully, the food fell flat. The staff we interacted with were very kind but I feel this was a miss for us. Too bad.
We had a fantastic stay. The whole property is beautiful, lovingly restored and furnished with loving attention to detail and the guests' comfort. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable, and squaky clean. The breakfast, included in the price, was fresh, tasty, with a good variety and served in a beautifil victorian salon. The owners and staff were very nice and attentive. We would gladly go back if we're in the area again.
