「We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....

「Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. Margo makes it seem effortless but...

「The room and bed were comfortable. The neighbor felt safe. Shared bath and kitchen were tidied daily but spider webs in ceiling corners remained. Kitchen had basic cooking and eating utensils and dish soap to clean up after yourself. Bath had hand soap but you have to remember to bring your hand towel to dry your hands. Also, the front door needs some attention - I found it very difficult to lock each time on my way out. 」
