It was a totally amazing spot. All decorated for Halloween. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was superb. We enjoyed visiting with the guests at the breakfast table. We have already booked for another stay in November. Keith and Gretchen, the owners, were very accommodating and delightful!

The location was perfect for us. We like to wander the Cornish area, but it is also very convenient to get to Portland or the mountains in New Hampshire. The owners are very accessible for suggestions or assistance. The breakfast meals were excellent. Will definitely stay again.

The historic setting of the Perkins house was very fun to learn about—it has a unique history and the owners preserved it’s originality. It was decorated to the extreme with antiques and knickknacks which made it feel a bit cluttered and our bedroom was so full of things that there was not much room left to lay out our things. But the breakfast provided was delicious each morning and was very satisfying.

Delightful getaway

The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. There is a shared bathroom for the floor, which was fine for us since only one other room was occupied. (I don’t know how that goes when the inn is full.) We did not take advantage of any of the other common areas (living room w/TV, sitting room). The entire house is beautifully decorated in the Victorian style, with lots of furniture, busy wallpaper, and decorative items on the shelves, dressers and side tables. It looked great, but I was afraid to put any of my own things on the dresser because I thought I might overlook them amidst all the other items when it came time to leave. Our host was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast far surpassed our expectations. I would certainly stay there again.

I was so surprised at how wonderful this place was. I knew it was going to be good but when. I arrived or exceededt expectation..I absolutely loved it here. I only wish I could have stayedonger to fully enjoy the room. I loved it was all decorated from Halloween too.

Gretchen and Keith are fantastic hosts. They were very friendly and great to talk with. They gave me tips on the best places to eat, and for a great lobster roll. If I am ever in the area again I will be staying there.
