「We were a bit confused by this hotel. This is a luxury boutique hotel that didn’t really feel like a luxury hotel. The staff were nice which is expected but didn’t go out of their way for us. The location is excellent and our room had a beautiful view of the Portofino piazza but the windows all had signs saying “please keep windows closed”. Our room furnishings were standard. 「We stayed 4 nights at hotel vesuvio and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean and very well air conditioned. The staff were very kind and even called a taxi for us one night when we were going to dinner on the outskirts of Rapallo (thanks Sophie). We also really liked the free breakfast they provide every morning. I hope we make it back to Rapallo one day and I would definitely stay at hotel vesuvio again!」

「From the moment we checked we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist, who took the time to show us our room, The room was beautiful and clean with an amazing view of the gardens and pool area, Breakfast was exceptional and all the staff were very attentive to our needs. Overall a beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Although this was a 3 star hotel, in our opinion it's was 4 star +. And would not hesitate recommend the beautiful hotel.」

「Excellent gem tucked away up in the mountains. Be cautioned, it’s a bit of a narrow road that leads to the property. Amazing front desk staff, as well as a gentleman named Pana who helped us with our luggage. Beautiful views everywhere, room was spacious, modern and well appointed. Did not try the restaurant for dinner, breakfast was good. Pool staff was not super friendly and the menu options could be expanded a bit. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!」

「We love the location , super clean but there was no instruction for check out . We had to take an early train and we couldn’t contact anyone to leave the keys. If you need to check out before 7:30 make sure to talk to the staff the previous day other than that we love the place .」
