「A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.」

「We would stay here again. The location was great with a park across the street and nearby grocery stores. No restaurants were open nearby, despite it being Saturday night. The room was generally quiet and the sheets were super soft. The room was big and had good options to lay out our suitcases. The room also had a mini fridge, however there was no bottled water in the room. The toilet seat and toilet paper rack were both very loose, but the bathroom had a fan. The fridge and fan were extra nice...

「What a lovely spot! The staff was super helpful. We loved the fresh fruit and bread and the generous supply of fresh bottled water. Lovely street with lights strung all along it, quiet for sleeping. A wonderful experience all around!」

「The Hotel Basilica is great! It’s in an old and well-preserved building with courtyards, comfortable public spaces and lots of plants and art. It’s only a few minutes walk from all of the main sights of colonial Quito. The best part of Hotel Basilica is the staff. From beginning to end, we were greeted by name, given advice on places to go and treated like family members. Gracias Hotel Basilica!」
