The room was well-lit and relatively comfortable; the bed was nice and firm. But the curtains do not block out light from the streetlights and we heard trucks on the Interstate all night long. The room was small, with no room to sit except the bed. The “free” breakfast was substandard; no protein options except overly-sweet yogurt. No whole-grain options, only white bread.
During checkin, the receptionist said the room number out loud, something that should NEVER be done. Ever.
The hotel is under renovation, so maybe things will improve in the future, but I doubt we’ll select Baymont ever again.
