The front desk check it was nice and friendly enough. The room was clean and updated. The Carpets and halls were very rough BUT they were also in the process of renovations, so hopefully that is on the to do, it needs very bad… The area is NOT the best but our stay was only for one NIGHT.

Very friendly and helpful staff, but very sparsely staffed hotel. The hotel is also quite old and rundown and located in a rather rough part of the city. But the staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly.

Our stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Ft. Jackson Maingate was made truly exceptional thanks to Michelle at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Michelle went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. She provided incredibly helpful information regarding the Army Graduation at Fort Jackson, which made navigating the event so much easier and far less stressful. She also took extra care to make sure our room was up to par, confirmed that we had enough towels, and ensured we were placed in a room with the handicap-accessible bathroom we needed. Michelle’s kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail genuinely made our stay better. It is rare to encounter someone who is so attentive and truly invested in guest comfort. Thank you so much, Michelle, for going above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. We are very grateful.

Easy/smooth check in. Upon entering room, there was a giant log of poop which was in the toilet. Not a great first impression. Called front desk and got another room. Room was dirty. Night side table was sticky and some electrical outlets had no cover. Heating and cooling unit looked like to was bashed around in someone’s work shop with dirt and grease splattered. It was stained and the window coverings were also filthy dirty as if someone was smoking in the room. Beds were comfy and as described size wise. Tv was large and worked well. Shower drain was plugged so you were showering in your own dirty water. Took awhile to drain after getting out / it wasn’t very clean regardless. The area the hotel is in isn’t the greatest. If you were travelling with children I would look elsewhere if possible. I would avoid this hotel unless you get a great price and travelling alone for a quick night stay. Breakfast was the good and the receptionist upon check in was helpful.

This property was nice and clean and also convenient. The breakfast was ok and there was no hot water for our last 2 days as i che ked out early for not having it as the hot water heater had broke. They did give me a refund for checking out early and partial for not having hot water.
