「GALA Hotel was okay overall for the price, and the room itself was nice and comfortable. However, I didn’t like that our room was right next to the reception area because there was almost no privacy. People were talking loudly all day working answering the phone talking to other staff members while we were trying to sleep, which made it hard to rest. 「They have buffet breakfast that was pretty good but can be pricey compared to other restaurants in the area. The room service menu is also decent. The cleaning staff was very nice. We did ask for late check out given we were leaving early. We asked in advanced, since they offered. They said it was okay but to ask the morning of, which we did but that morning they said we could only check out 45 minutes later, so that was a bummer. 「Horrible reserve varios días pero me tuve que salir , pelos pubicos en la taza del baño , la regadera llena de mugre , la cocina huele mal , las almohadas y sábanas sucias olían a sudor ya no sé de cuántas personas y lleno de polvo el cuartito que me dieron lo tuve que limpiar con toallitas húmedas porque me estaba dando alergia respirar, la chica solo jugó con mi tiempo diciéndome que me iba a rembolsar y derrepente ya no contestó. No lo recomiendo para nada !」

「The atmosphere was lovely. It’s not a luxury hotel by any means, but the staff was nice and the hotel is so cute. It really set the tone for my stay in Guadalajara. The only things I would say is the bathroom kind of smelled due to what seemed like sewage issues, but it didn’t ruin the stay for me. Loved the little patio we got and the pool, which was so warm. I would highly recommend this hotel to any budget traveler.」

「It’s a fancy looking place and feels private and nice. The bed was comfy, mini fridge and Netflix on the TV. Great location!! Easy walk to so much great stuff!! It was very warm in our room but there was a fan which helped some. Overall I would suggest it if you are okay with sleeping in a warm ish room. Otherwise great choice!!」

「Very large room. Heavy wooden furniture no desk for laptop. Great common space atrium garden vibe. Older building but good hot water and facilities. Quiet and good location」
