Convenient location. Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Hotel needs an update. Shower went cold within a couple of minutes. Road noise was prominent and loose external fixtures need to be repaired. Balconies were a good addition but external parts of the building need cleaning

Galle Face Hotel
Steeped in history, good location and facilities. Good restaurant choices. Outside bar area is great overlooking the sea. Service was slow at times and hotel is a bit tired in places.

Mount Lavinia Hotel
The hotel still has the charm . The doormen make it , dressed the part and charming . The rooms are now shabby ,dirty , grouting all black in bathroom , bedroom walls are mouldy and the carpets need ripping out . 3 star at best The sun loungers poolside have nice thick mattress on so comfort exceeds ...
