A charming hotel with easy access to the main area of interest. Our room was large and newly renovated with great amenities and facing onto the main tourist area. Easy access to most places of interest including the university, which we were able to explore in the evening and during the day.

Really impressed with our stay here. Central location and yet a very quiet and spacious, comfortable room. Loved the historic building and old furniture/pharmacy artefacts in the communal areas whilst the bedroom was modern, clean, quiet and with excellent air con which was needed! Staff were very helpful, including not only ordering us a taxi but also walking us to the meeting point (as the guesthouse is on a pedestrianised road) and waiting with us to check we got it. We knew this was a guesthouse with limited amenities but there were ample cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. Would stay here again.

Really cute guesthouse right on the main pedestrian street. We stayed for the weekend in the Alfazema room, which is the light purple room, and the view was great. Everything was clean, there’s an elevator, and there’s also a rooftop terrace. The only real downside for us was the noise. It was loud all weekend and people were outside drinking basically through the night. They told us it was a celebratory weekend because of the start of the new academic year, so I’m not sure if that’s normal every weekend or if we just happened to be there at a particularly busy time. We went downstairs around 7 AM one morning and there were still people drinking out front. Also, since it’s on a pedestrian-only street, cars and Ubers can’t pull right up to the guesthouse, so you do have to walk a little with your luggage. There isn’t always someone at reception, but they were easy to reach through WhatsApp when we needed them. Overall, really cute, clean, and in a great location. I’d just keep the noise in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

Warm welcome by the staff at our arrival. We were able to leave our luggages prior to check-in. The had complimentary coffee and muffins which were highly appreciated. The bedroom was really nice and quiet. There is an elevator. They have terrasses and one is offerings a view of the city from the rooftop. The hotel is very well located with plenty of restaurants within less than 10 minutes walking distance. Highly recommended.
