Great place to stay in Coimbra. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The property is fantastic with terrific views, too. There were a couple aggressive panhandlers (beggars) near the property, but we still rate this hotel 5 stars, so we loved it.

The room was quiet, clean and pleasantly decorated. It was on the 4th floor at the back of the building. The location was easy to find in the heart of the attractions. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices. From afternoon to midnight there are pastries and beverages for free in the lounge.

We greatly enjoyed our stay with CBR Boutique Hotel. The location is very central, right next to the river and main street with plenty of shops and restaurants. The themed rooms are stylish and clean. The breakfast is simple but good and definitely enough to fill you up. What impressed me the most was the staff's hospitality and helpfulness, as they looked out for me and helped me recover my valuables. I am deeply grateful to them for saving my trip! Will definitely stay with them if I visit Coimbra again.

This property was perfect in every way. Many restaurants, great walking to all sites. A short and interesting walk to the university. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The property was very well located to the University area a 12mins walk down! The unique part of the hotel was replicating the books in the Joanina Library in the bathroom areas amazing. The staff were very helpful and cake at the end of the day in the breakfast room was most welcome.

This is a lovely and eclectic hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfast and afternoon tea were fine dining quality. Communication by the hotel about local events that may disrupt our stay was communicated far in advance. We had an absolutely lovely stay!
